UNEXPECTED HEADCANON:

Meg actually started out as Mary Magdalene. She sold her soul to Lilith when she realized that (a very mortal) Jesus wasn’t going to come back on his own, and that, without evidence of his divinity, everything they’d worked for would collapse.

“You find a cause, and you serve it.”

She never told anyone, and he lived out the rest of his life believing that he really was the son of god.

What made you change your mind so strongly about Supernatural?

I’m a big believer in letting stories/shows run their natural course. For example, even though Buffy the Vampire Slayer is seriously the great love of my life, I was happy that it ended in season seven because the story was done (I know it continued on with the comics, but I don’t read them and I don’t acknowledge them as canon). The story of Supernatural was supposed to be told with five seasons. When it was renewed for a sixth season, I had a very bad feeling that it was renewed not because there was more to the story, but because of money. And considering the utter character assassination that both Dean, Sam, Castiel, and the rest of the characters have suffered, I was right in having that bad feeling.
