My Siamese, Sir Charles, would get VERY UPSET every time I went into the bathroom. He would sit on the top of the toilet and watch me while I was in the shower to ensure that I wouldn’t get sucked into the drain. AND GOD FORBID I EVER SHUT HIM OUT OF THE BATHROOM.

Get a Siamese! Siamese have such bad reps. Everyone thinks they’re mean and bitchy, but they are devoted, loyal, and so incredibly loving. They are also very clean, don’t really shed constantly, and will eat pretty much anything. They’re very talkative, but you will never feel alone. I had a Siamese for two years before he passed away (he was a rescue), and he was the most amazing, wonderful living being I’ve ever known in my entire life. 

Just be aware that if you get a Siamese that is cross-eyed, you need to get night lights to put around the house because cross-eyed Siamese cats are blind in the dark. I didn’t know this for about two months after I got Sir Charles, and he drove me CRAZY when I went to bed at night because he would sit in one spot and cry all night long. My vet finally told me that cross-eyed Siamese cats are blind in the dark, and felt like a total asshole for yelling at him when he was terrified. I got night lights, and we never, ever had a problem after that.
