when i say i ship something i don’t just mean ” I want them to fuck each other’s brains out”. despite the literal context i think shipping is simply wanting two people to be closer to each other and matter or to each other than any other person. The deepest friendships and the deepest family relationships can be shipped. it’s the idea that two people were inexplicably made for each other, and contrary to popular belief, sex doesn’t always need to be a factor. it can be an added bonus, but it’s not necessary to ship someone. loving a pairing together is, in my opinion, loving an all encompassing relationship that can be interpreted any way you want.

Goddamn, I really like the idea behind this video for the following reasons.

1. Everyone knows that I love parallels. The parallels of Hogan and Cena are numerous, and even though I know that Cena will never turn heel and I’m totally okay with that, the part of me that always wonders “What if?” is BEYOND INTRIGUED by the possibility of Cena having his own “Hollywood Hogan” phase.

2. I always love seeing fans paying homage to the past and creating mashups of present stars and the past. I don’t want the nWo to come back*, its time is over, but it’s still really cool to watch something like this.

3. Besides, if there’s going to be a new stable, then said new stable needs to be lead by Cena and Punk**. I’m sorry, you guys, but you want to see something new and fresh? Punk and Cena teaming up to lay waste on the WWE in the name of respect (for Punk, the respect of the WWE corporate brass; for Cena, the respect of fans) would be new, fresh, and fucking pefect. Would it ever happen? Sadly, no. But God, think of the possibilities and think of how the two of them would fucking SLAY such an angle.

*For real, everyone needs to let the nWO revival idea go. The 90’s are over. And do you really want to see kevin nash’s irrelevant ass return? didn’t think so.

**If WWE decided to have Punk and Cena orbit around each other for the rest of their careers, I would give Vince McMahon every single dollar I earn. Let them switch roles, let Punk be the heel and Cena the face, turn Cena into the heel and Punk the face, have them be the Ultimate Face Dynasty, have them be the One Evil Duo To Rule Them All…hell, LET THEM DO ALL OF THIS. For the rest of their careers. If WWE keeps them together, I will personally hand Vince my paychecks and my soul with an iron-clad contract that allows him to own said soul throughout the entirety of my life and into the afterlife as well.

The (500) Days of Summer attitude of “He wants you so bad” seems attractive to some women and men, especially younger ones, but I would encourage anyone who has a crush on my character to watch it again and examine how selfish he is. He develops a mildly delusional obsession over a girl onto whom he projects all these fantasies. He thinks she’ll give his life meaning because he doesn’t care about much else going on in his life. A lot of boys and girls think their lives will have meaning if they find a partner who wants nothing else in life but them. That’s not healthy. That’s falling in love with the idea of a person, not the actual person.

Ugh, I’m sorry to double post with two quotes, but he’s dropping another truth bomb here. I hate when people misinterpret 500DOS and think of Summer as some kind of bitch, or, alternately, as a Manic Pixie Dream Girl. That’s only how his character saw her. To me, this movie was basically about Nice Guy Syndrome: A guy who thinks he’s just so nice that he’s entitled to the woman he wants, and when she decides she doesn’t want him back, she becomes a bitch, or a whore.
