Charles/Erik Recs

-Of course the first new rec is the absolutely epic Carpe Brewski by gyzym. For anyone that is living under a rock, Carpe Brewski is an AU in which Charles and Erik are sorority brothers. There is massive amounts of drunken shenanigans, unresolved sexual tension, and bros being bros. Every character is in this fic is flawlessly hilarious. It is unfinished, so I advise that you read only if you are prepared to salivate for every new update.

-The New York, New York series by oddegg. For a 1stclass-kink meme prompt: Erik is a single, successful man who likes quick sex with no strings attached. Then, he meets college professor Charles and it’s love at first sight, at least for him. Charles, who heard of Erik’s notorious ways, wants nothing to do with him besides being friends. Cue Erik bending over backwards to steal Charles’ heart. Second only to Carpe Brewski in terms of utter hilarity. Every single character gets their moment to shine, but Erik is the true king of this piece. Also unfinished, so read carefully.

I ♥ NY (It’s My Friends I’m Not Sure Of)- The actual story

I ♥ NY (And Strippers Too! - the ‘Shaking Dat Ass’ mix)- A prequel to the story. In which Erik indulges in his inner stripper.

-Painted Hearts by twilightthief. In which Erik reads poetry, and Charles finds himself at Erik’s door. Poetic, lyrical, sensual, and deep. It’ll make you swoon.

-Retribution by rebooting. Dark!Charles fic. Charles finds Erik to exact revenge for what Erik has done. I should not have enjoyed this fic as much as I did.

-Cellmates by citizenjess. Set in the future, Charles and Erik are captured by Mr. Sinister. ONE, I LOVE FICS THAT FEATURE CHARACTERS IN THE FILM. TWO, I LOVE MR. SINISTER. Read this and love it.

-Jaws by qikiqtarjuaq. What if Charles was a dolphin and Erik was a shark? Sounds cracky, but I swear to God, it will hurt your heart.

-another gorgeous thing that should not have happened by postcardmystery & gyzym. Yes, the authors of the Quantam Chaos trilogy (my absolute all-time number one favorite fic in the fandom) and Carpe Brewski (the new fandom favorite) teamed together to write a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AU. So why are you still reading my post? CLICK ON THE LINK AND READ THIS FIC.

-Lessons Exquisitely Crafted and The Ghosts in the Attic by birdsdown. Modern AU in which Charles gets cancer. Do you never want to be happy ever again? Then read these two fics. The Ghosts in the Attic is a combination of fic/fanmix. Grab Kleenexs for your eternal creys.

McFassy Recs

-The Best Way to a Man’s Heart by restlesspuppy. Bakery AU in which James works in a bakery, Michael is a regular, and James makes Michael little extra goodies in an attempt to seduce him. I liked this one so much that it is in the queue for an extra rec.

-Boy by ladywintere. Another gem for the McFassy AU Fest, which I suspect is going to produce some gems. James is in desperate need for cash and answers an ad for a porn film. Michael is his co-star in said film. Good times are had by all, including you, dear reader.

-A Tail of Two Idiots Heroes by boxedturtle. Fassy gets his tail. A cute AU that’s fun and fluffy.
